Terracast planters are molded from a space age polymer and are guaranteed never to crack, chip, or break. They eliminate the costly breakage problems of clay and terracota planters that occur during trasportation and installations. Terracast can be used both indoors and outdoors. They have excellent freeze/thaw characteristics and are unaffected by extreme temperature changes.
Material
Terracast planters are made of a non porous material. Water and minerals cannot leak trough the walls and stain or discolor exterior surface. The planters can be used without saucers on carpets, tile or wooden floors without the worry of staining.
The planters have uniform and consistent color that will never fade or discolor. The color os integral with the resin and will not chip, flake, or scratch off.
Terracast planters weigh 80% less than clay, concrete and terracota planters. They are light enough to be used on balconies, rooftops, and jobs with load baring limits. Due to there weight they also cost around 60% less to ship than other planters.
Terracast planters can be bolted to the ground to deter theft, vandalism, and to be used as barriers for sidewalks and roads.
